Dr. BR Ambedkar Open University (BRAOU)
Founded 1982 as Andhra Pradesh Open University, renamed 1991, and has the same legal and academic status as any other University in India. It is designed to enable persons who do not have any formal educational qualification to pursue courses leading to a first degree as well as a Postgraduate degree. The aim of the University is to provide equality of opportunity for as large a segment of the population as possible, through use of print, audio-visual media, teleconferencing and contact, and counselling programmes at 131 study centres.

- Zulassungsdetails: Applicants who have passed the Intermediate examination conducted by the Board of Intermediate Education, or equivalent. Applicants without any qualifications have to pass the Eligibility test conducted by the University
